On site technical Support provided to the entities hosting an EGNOS V2 SPEED simulator platform: TAS-F and CNES. These technical supports covered different topics: configuration, maintaining, desing of experiments, CPF Qualification testing…
GALILEO GMS Local Maintenance Equipment (LME)
Design and software development of the GALILEO GMS Local Maintenance Equipment which is a highly secured laptop embedding all the software tools and utilities needed for performing the onsite software maintenance of all the GMS sub-systems. This tool is compliant to the Galileo Software Standard. Operational product designed and developed for Thales Alenia Space (TAS).
Design and software development of a Software Tool allowing to capture and decode in real time the data flows exchanged between the GALILEO GMS sub-systems. This software tool is used for both IVQ and Maintenance activities. This tool is compliant to the Galileo Software Standard. Operational product designed and developed for Thales Alenia Space (TAS).
GEO RANGING STUDIES
Technical studies for the introduction of the EGNOS GEO Ranging function, impact analysis on the System Performance and Design. Studies made for Thales Alenia space (TAS-F) in the frame of an ESA contract.
MAGNIFIC H2020 GSA
Responsible of the Work package “Highly Secured Multimodal Transport” (MAGNIFIC-WP7).
H2020-2015 project MAGNIFIC (Multiplying In Africa European Global Navigation Initiatives Fostering Improved Cooperation)
MAGNIFIC has the following objectives:
• To ensure the promotion of an African EGNOS through benefits that spread much beyond Civil Aviation Needs
• To ensure the promotion of the Galileo Early services
• To support the Awareness and the capacity building in Africa to boost the penetration of the EGNSS applications and services
ABBIA was involved in on the field demonstrations made in Senegal, Mozambic and Cameroon.
STUDIES FOR ESA EGNOS Project Office
Several engineering studies made for ESA EPO in the frame of EGNOS V3 preparation, covering topics related to the impact of Ionosphere scintillation on GNSS signals. Improvement of existing software tools and algorithms. Delivery of software tools and technical notes to ESA EPO team.
